Paradise Shells Summer Tour 2023! We Rocked This Summer! Check it Out!
I decided to make this summer memorable by getting on the move to celebrate family, friends, and terrific events! Check out our fast-paced tour!
1st Stop – POPCYCLE & Siedlecki Cousins, Ashburn, VA
Cousin Bud is the “Big Toe” of our Siedlecki family. He is so much fun and full of energy, and his wife (Aunt Kathy) is a brilliant delight. The “Toe” said something to me I will never forget! But that is another story for another time. My cousin Teresa (“T”) is his fearless daughter. Her sister, my cousin Lisa, is another story of triumph. T and her family rock! Or should I say, POP! T hosted my family at “POPCYCLE,” her cycling studio extravaganza! If you can visit, it will blow your mind! Stimulation of all five of your senses keeps you training on a thrilling edge. Mental fitness is POPCYCLE’s priority. And, what a community of loving people and cyclists! This was the perfect way to kick off PS’s Summer Tour! T is so inclusive and dynamic it is hard to put into words. She is the kind of person who takes your breath away! T challenges you to become your best! She leads by example. This woman is the ultimate inspirational leader. I love her and her amazing family! We had the best time being together! I love them so much!
2nd Stop – NCMF Annual Golf Event & Cavagnaro Cousins w/ Friends, Jessup, PA
My cousin Amanda is like a sister to me – and this does not even begin to describe our amazing relationship! The Nadine Cenci Marchegiani Foundation, established in honor of Amanda’s mom, supports people in the local community battling cancer. This is a shining example of people in action! This rings my bell! I attended with my mom, dad, and sister Sara, and helped w/ the Foundation’s annual golf event. We had a blast! My uncle Ernie rode in the golf cart with my dad and they came back laughing and smiling and full of fun stories about the day! My friend Teddy Powers played too! Teddy has more energy than the Sun, so you can only imagine how he ignited the party! Teddy would have won the “Longest Drive,” contest, but he hit it too far, meaning over the green! That was about 380-yards. The entire team at NCMF did an outstanding job and our family and friends had one of the best days of all time! I love my Cavagnaro cousins and Jessup friends!
3rd Stop – Visit with Grandmom, Warminster, PA
My visit with my grandmom was next! She is sharper than a whip at age 96 and so inspiring to talk with. She is the most optimistic and encouraging person I have ever known. She is one-in-a-million, and she has a hotline to God. If you need a prayer answered, just ask my grandmom to pray for your most special intention. Watch what happens next! We had a delightful visit with her! She has such a gift for focusing on others and remembers every detail of what is happening in each person’s life. My mom and dad say that I get my focus on others and my memory of details from my grandmom. I cannot wait to see her at Christmas time! She is so inspiring, and she always lifts my heart and soul through her love, prayers, and devotion to God. We are all so blessed to have her! Love you Grandmom!
4th Stop – Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert, w/ Uncle Ernie & Family, Palm Beach, FL
We were able to honor my Aunt Melinda, my Uncle Ernie’s incredible wife, who passed away a little over a year ago, and keep her memory alive through the energy and positivity of the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd. We saw them live at the “iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre,” in West Palm Beach, FL. This gave my Uncle Ernie and our family the freedom to heal in an indescribable way! Melinda and Ernie loved and followed Lynyrd Skynyrd for years. “Sweet Home Alabama” is their song! Every time we hear it, we know Aunt Melinda is with us – I mean, actually – with us! We can feel her warm loving charm and see her ever-present smile in our hearts. Our whole family thinks and talks about her all the time. She was with us in spirit at the concert! The band played their hearts out and we were coming out of our seats all night long – and the crowd exploded when the first chords of “Sweet Home Alabama” reached our eardrums. I bet you can hear those chords right now! You can only imagine how the sound, instruments, musicians, lights, and video rocked the venue. This stop is one on our tour I will carry in my heart every single day, forever. Love you Aunt Melinda and Uncle Ernie.
5th Stop – Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament, Old Natchez, Franklin, TN
Home stop on the tour! The annual Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament is an event that I look forward to as much as the Super Bowl – and I love football! Each year this outing raises support for United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee. This year, my friend Qwynn (Qwynn Music) joined me. Her original songs will grab you and not let go! Listen to “This Moment,” and “Beautiful Back!” Buckle up. Qwynn has a golden heart and voice! She is a rising star in country music. She is so special to me, I cannot put it into words! Each year, I bring my golf ball cannon to hole number five. Golfers donate a small amount to UCP of Middle Tennessee to fire my golf ball cannon from the fifth tee instead of hitting their driver. It shoots a golf ball 400-yards – easy! Take that Tiger Woods! It is such a thrill to meet new friends from Music Row, including songwriters and other team members from places like Warner Music, Big Loud, and BMG! When the day finished, we chowed down on the world’s best-pulled pork and smoked chicken from Peg Leg Porker BBQ. I cannot wait to do it again next year! All the best to my friends on Music Row!
